At Sand Bar Farm Kiko Goats we are committed to producing quality Kiko goats in Michigan.  Our performance based breeding  program produces; purebred, percentage, and commercial Kiko goat breeding stock.  We also offer cross-bred Savanna goats.  See our for sale  page for current availability.     

   We provide our Kiko goats with a natural environment of browse and pasture to meet their nutritional needs.  Our goal is to produce Kiko breeding stock, market goats and chevon with a minimal intervention approach.  Our breeding program produces desirable Kiko and Savanna replacements for your herd.  Quality browse, clean water, and fresh air make happy goats.
 
   To maintain our minimal intervention approach, we have carefully chosen our breeding stock from two of the hardiest meat goat breeds: Kiko and Savanna.  By carefully monitoring our breeding process, our does produce healthy, fast growing kids that reach their target weight quickly.  In addition to breed selection, our intensive rotational grazing program  adds significant value to our program.  
   
   Along with fast growth rates, KIko and Savanna goats have proven to be more tolerant and resistant to natural pests and diseases.  To help avoid the unnecessary use of anthelmintics, we became FAMACHA certified in the fall of 2010.
  
   At Sand Bar Farm Kiko Goats, you will never see whole herd preventive antibiotic use.  It is our pledge to step in and assist mother nature only when absolutely necessary for the safety of our goats and operation.
